Hello and welcome aboard our Sweet as Honey Australasian Close to My Heart Blog Hop.

If you have arrived here from Danielle Edwards – ScrappyChicks then you are in the right place.

If you landed here by accident, no problem, welcome and please join in our big Crafty Circle by following the link at the end of this post.

Today I would like to share with you my artwork which features Close to My Heart’s Sweet as Honey Paper Suite. This stunning paper suite is the January featured Paper Pack and it is so versatile.

Sweet as Honey Paper Suite

The featured colours with this paper suite are: Black, Mink, Sundance and Shortbread.

I have created a single page layout and 2 cards to share with you.

First I have created this classic look to celebrate a favourite photo from the last Lockdown. It is the first photo of an in person catchup at the park that we organised as soon as we could with our dear friends, These days I seem to have more 1 photo layouts than ever as I take most of my photos on my phone of my daily activities, so I make more single pages to celebrate these photos.

I used the stunning black hexagon paper as my starting point and combined it with Black and Shortbread cardstock to really make the photo pop.

I like to use hidden journal boxes when I have a lot say and made a pull out journal box decorated with the lovely bee paper. I finished it off with some stickers, which have a lovely vintage look to them.

Next I created this sweet little card using the same black hexagon paper , Black cardstock and some White cardstock which I blended the Antique Linen distress oxide onto and then stamped this cut bear which is one of the images from the January Stamp of the Month – Sweet Little Thing.

Lastly I created this cute little corner Thank You card. This card is simple to make and and is so fun to decorate. On this card I featured the Bee paper and again combined it with Black and Shortbread Cardstock decorated using a variety of thin cuts from my stash.

The “Thanks” Thin Cut was cut 3 times and stuck together to create some dimension. The cute Bee is from the Valentines special – Smitten.

This Sweet as Honey Paper Suite is available in January and February 2022.
