CTMH Australasian Blog Hop -Are we there yet?

Today I would like to share with you my artwork which features Close to My Heart’s ”Are we there yet?” Paper Suite.

Title Page for James’ travel album

This beautiful travel themed Paper Suite is available in January, February and March. The patterned paper has some lovely soft travel motives and the stamps and stickers have some fun travel images of maps, passports and suitcases.

I love making these style pages for special photo’s or as a album title page.

I started with a piece of white Daisy Cardstock cut to 11.25 x 11.25 which I mounted on a piece of Sapphire Cardstock. I then used a plate to draw a pencil circle on my page.

Then I started adding various stamped images from the “Are we there yet?” scrapbooking stamp and thin cuts (Z4677) in glacier and sapphire as well as stickers and the cute rubber shapes ( X7288E). I mainly stuck to Glacier and Sapphire with the occasional Toffee, Sage and a couple of pops of Papaya

To fill any gaps and add some visual interest I finished off with dots of silver stickles and sage and silver liquid pearls.

Lastly I added the photo I snapped at the airport as I dropped the boys off, double mounted on Glacier and Sapphire.
