CTMH Australasian Stamp of the Month Blog Hop.

Hello and welcome aboard our January 2022 Stamp of the Month Australasian Close to My Heart Blog Hop.

If you have arrived here from Kimberley Lerc – Kimmy Adds Sparkle then you are in the right place.

If you landed here by accident, no problem, welcome and please join in by following the link at the end of this post.

Today I would like to share with you my artwork which features Close to My Heart’s January’s Stamp of the Month (SOTM) – Sweet Little Things S2201

As soon as I saw this stamp set, I had so many ideas buzzing around in my head. It is just so sweet, and is so fun to colour in – my favourite relaxation activity.

I decided to make a set of cards to share here, featuring all the images from the set. There are 2 Bunnies, a mouse and a bear. ❤️

I then set about colouring them in. I used Brown Grey Shades Tri Blend Marker and Ice Grey Blend Tri Blend Marker for the creatures and then a variety of my favourite bright colours for the flowers. A perfect activity for a hot summer afternoon.

I then had so much fun creating some pretty bright backgrounds for the stamped images using my Distress oxide inks and bending tools.

My go to colours for blending

I used my go to colours – Chipped Sapphire, Peacock Feathers, Picked Raspberry and Mowed Lawn. Here is a quick time lapse of my process. If you wish to see how to recreate this card in more detail, here is the link to my YouTube Video I made a while ago

How to blend 😃

I love how they turned out and think they make a great set. I have also used this stamp set on some pages, but as they are for my upcoming workshop I am not able to share here. I promise you they finish off a page beautifully and go really well with the brand new paper suite release of Sawyer.

This stamp set is available all of January for only $9 when you place a qualifying order or free if you are a VIP.

If you do not have a consultant, please contact me or place an order here.

I would love you to leave a comment before heading to your next creative hop with Doreen Watkins

I hope you have fun recreating these cards and share your projects with me.

Happy New Year and Happy Crafting
